Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider is no stranger to make-up and women’s clothing.

But neither is Chicago.

Snider is in town producing a Christmas show that debuts next month, but the Windy City has seen his kind of style before: on former Bulls forward Dennis Rodman.

The Worm famously donned a wedding dress and frequently sported make-up during his always-entertaining tenure with the Bulls. And Snider, who was doing stuff like that long before Rodman, has plenty of respect for the former Bull.

“I actually was on ‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’ with Dennis, so I got to hang out with him a little bit. It takes a real man to wear a dress,” Snider said during a Monday interview in the AT&T U-verse Lounge. “Me — and I don’t know if it’s the same with Dennis — I was looking for trouble, and this was a way to get into it. So anybody who’s got guts like that, I respect.

“Dennis shut people up. There’s a saying, let the music do the talking. In Dennis’ case, let the playing do the talking.
