Dee Snider doesn’t have much to rebel against anymore, so he is willing to do your rebelling for you. 

Snider says when he wrote “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” it was about his personal situation. Then Twisted Sister hit it big and he had houses and cars and boats – and nothing to be angry about. 

He says now he’s realized his role in rock is to give a voice to those who are not being heard. 

Snider recorded a slowed-down version of “We’re Not Gonna Take It” for his new “We Are The Ones” album that he believes gives the song new meaning.
