Who could they possibly hope make a stand against such a dark force,
a force so omnipotent all it needed to do was gaze at its
aggressors and the battle was won.
"An old man and a child?"
This too made IT smile–yet something about this absurd pairing
made it–almost imperceptibly–shudder.
