This week’s Theater Loop Showcase video is a stocking stuffed with holiday cheer. It’s “Dee Snider’s Rock & Roll Christmas Tale” featuring, of course, Dee Snider alongside Keely Vasquez, Christina Nieves and Taylor Yacktman with Alan Bukowiecki on keyboard.

In this new musical comedy, a hair metal band sells its collective soul to Satan in exchange for fame and fortune, but the plan goes awry when all their dark, loud music becomes minty Christmas carols. This song “The Magic of Christmas,” written by Snider and once recorded by Celine Dion, is the show’s finale.

“Dee Snider’s Rock & Roll Christmas Tale” plays the Broadway Playhouse, 175 E. Chestnut St., through Jan. 4.
